$60 – $1000The Water Dog is proud to once again gather thousands of beer lovers together to “Prost like a Pro!” for Oktoberfest! It’s that time of year when all of our lederhosen-clad and dirndl-sporting friends travel from far and wide to hoist a stein in celebration. Join us for a fanciful evening of Beale’s festbier, feasting, costumes, dancing, raucous music, and more! Dress your best and brush up on your Chicken Dance skills!
Celebrating once again with Beale’s beer including the new Oktoberfest collaboration, German-inspired feast, musical performances, lederhosen, and dirndl costume contest for best-dressed male and female, Oktoberfest games, Chicken Dance contest, Flash Your ‘Stache competition, and more! Get your lederhosen or dirndl here! You must be 21 or older and present a valid ID to attend!
MUSIC //
– LITTLE GERMAN BAND AND DANCERS // The Little German Band and Dancers perform music and dances from the Bavaria region of Germany including waltzes, polkas, and marches – the music played at Oktoberfests and other great parties throughout the year. With the band and Schuhplattler dance group, they are able to offer a unique experience of continual entertainment!
– EMPIRE STRIKES BRASS // Asheville, NC-based BrassFunkRock band Empire Strikes Brass has a lot to say with a big sound. Chock-full of serious groove from a thumping rhythm section highlighted by lush horn arrangements played by a thick horn section, the band’s compositional roots as well as its creative and collaborative soul contribute lots of depth to their original tunes and covers that speak volumes to their evolution.
VIP TABLES //
VIP Tables include a reserved table under the tent along with your own personal Beer Kellner (aka beer server), 8 tickets for you and your guests; including a german inspired meal, and a larger ceramic commemorative beer stein for you and your guests along with access to all games and music!
GAMES //
– HAMMERSCHLAGEN // Possibly one of the most fun games you will ever play (at an Oktoberfest). Be the first to get your nail in the log and wear your cow bell with pride!
– AXE THROWING // Because, why not?
– STEIN HOLDING CONTEST // This is one of the 7 feats of strength and it’s your time to prove you’re worthy!
– COSTUME CONTEST // This is an event where you should DRESS UP! Best male and female costumes win fun prizes! Get your lederhosen or dirndl here!
– MUSTACHE / BEARD CONTEST // Grow it and show it! Or, slap on a fake stash and join the fun!
– PAPS CIGAR LOUNGE // Paps Cigar will be setting up their leather chairs and recreating their comfy cigar lounge; offering up the best cigars that pair with Beale’s lineup of brews.

Join The Water Dog for our annual Oktoberfest at Riverfront Park! Volunteers will receive admission to the event, an official Oktoberfest t-shirt, a free meal, and an Oktoberfest stein! Check back here to sign up!
TRANSPORTATION & PARKING: There will be FREE parking throughout downtown AND thanks to our sponsor Terry Subaru, we will also have FREE designated driving rides*.
PLEASE DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE.
Really, we can’t stress this enough … if you overindulge, leave your car and come back for it the next day. Take an Uber; you’ll make some new friends and keep everyone safe. If you need to, please leave your car overnight in the parking lot and pick it up the next day.
