Riverviews Artspace
Riverviews Artspace is a non-profit arts organization that is committed to presenting contemporary art exhibitions, multi-disciplinary programs and events.
Past exhibits have included moving pieces that inspire thoughtful conversations around mental illness, politics, spirituality and community.
Riverviews Artspace is free and open to the public on Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Maier Museum of Art
Located on the campus of Randolph College, but open to the general public, the Maier Museum of Art houses an incredible collection of American art, specifically paintings, works on paper and photography. The collection of art dates to 1907, but pieces represent works from across the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
Maier Museum of Art is free and open to the public, with summer hours on Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. or fall hours on Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Academy Center of the Arts
The Academy Center of the Arts houses three unique galleries within its grounds, including The Ann White Academy Gallery, The Up Front Gallery and The Warehouse Theatre Lobby. Each gallery offers a unique set of art—from juried university exhibitions to nationally known works.

Lynchburg Art Club
Right in between the downtown arts offerings and the Maiser Museum of Art is the Lynchburg Art Club—a perfect stop along the way if you’re doing an art tour of the city. The Lynchburg Art Club hosts monthly rotating exhibitions that are open to the public.
Gallery hours are Thursday and Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Daura Gallery
The Daura Gallery, located on the grounds of the University of Lynchburg, hosts an impressive collection of works by European and American artists, African art, and a beautiful display of world cultures that includes more than 2,500 paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
