This August, LOCKN’ fans are invited to embark on a new journey called LOCKN’ FARM SUMMER 2021, a concert series featuring three weekends of live music, food, activities, and camping under the stars. LOCKN’ Farm Summer 2021 will be held August 13 – 15, August 20 – 22, and August 27 – 29, at LOCKN’ Farm (formerly known as Infinity Downs Farm), LOCKN’s 387-acre property located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Arrington, VA.
The History of LOCKN’
LOCKN’ Festival started in 2013 with a dedication to music and community, and a goal to provide an incredible atmosphere. With exceptionally creative programming, non-stop music, and an incomparable celebration of everything the region has to offer, from food and craft beers to the stunning beauty of its location, LOCKN’ is one of the most beloved modern American festivals located right here in the Heart of Virginia.
Over the last 8 years, artists such as Tom Petty, Robert Plant, Phish, Carlos Santana, The Avett Brothers, Ween, Wilco, Zac Brown, Willie Nelson, Phil Lesh and more have performed to sold-out crowds and music enthusiasts. This year With reduced capacity, LOCKN’ Farm Summer 2021 keeps the LOCKN’ spirit alive by producing unforgettable, unique, and authentic live experiences. Each weekend will be special in its own way, with a different band headlining star-studded lineups that celebrate the past, present, and future of LOCKN’. Of course, all three weekends will also feature an array of activities to enrich the summer days and nights while creating lifelong memories for all who attend.
“LOCKN’, the music festival, has had an amazing run, with hundreds of thousands of fans witnessing countless epic performances and collaborations by hundreds of legendary artists,” says Peter Shapiro, Promoter, LOCKN’ FARM. “Given the realities of COVID-19 and the world we now live in, it feels like the right moment to do something new and a bit more intimate, while keeping the best of what the four-day festival has offered since 2013. This August, LOCKN’ will become a weekly destination — LOCKN’ FARM — a place with a history of good vibes and magic, and instead of hosting a single annual festival we will sprinkle the LOCKN’ spirit across multiple music and camping weekends. Positive things often emerge out of challenging times, and LOCKN’s evolution from a single-weekend festival to a place where bands can host their own special events is going to be one of them.”
